SHARE OUR VISION

Does the phrase, "Aim at nothing and you're bound to hit it!" frighten you as it does me? What are you aiming for in life? At EBC, what we're aiming for, what we're attempting to become is . . .

A Community of Faith • Bringing Faith to the Community!

We believe God consistently invites his people into community. We live in our neighborhood communities, work in our business communities, and learn in our educational communities. At EBC, we choose to worship and serve God together in a faith community. What does that look like? Well, we choose to love each other by . . .
• praying for each other,
• enjoying each other's successes,
• sharing each other's burdens,
• encouraging each other during difficult times,
• helping each other view life and people through God's eyes.

Since our vision is both inward- and outward- focused, we've decided to venture outside our walls to people in our neighborhoods, in our city, and in our world who live in the darkness of sin, sadness, loss, and loneliness.
We serve them as best we can, via . . .
• random acts of kindness
• sharing the good news of Jesus
• "kingdom moments," modeling or communicating God's love. Our "kingdom moments" occur in Omaha's neighborhoods, among Omaha's homeless, in Omaha's street school and prison cells, and among Omaha's marriages.
In addition, we support and connect with over sixteen families serving Christ around the world. Since we're still becoming a caring community and attempting to take our faith . . . wherever, why not come and grow with us in our community of faith and go with us into our community!
